Public events

On the 2008/8/8, I went to Beijing to joined in the Olympic Games opening ceremony.That

night my mother and I can not slept because our hearts can not stop to thrill.I knew that each of the Olympic Games opening ceremony will include suspense, will also become the focus of much attention. For example, in the 29Th Polemic Games in Beijing will have many refreshing aspects of people, so the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games are often used as a major Olympic Games,used to reflect the unique culture of the host city.Beijing can be the first city to hold the Olympic opening ceremony,we were proud of our country can held the Olympic opening
ceremony.

That night I think I will never forget.In the Olympic opening ceremony there were about
six processes and Group calisthenics or other cultural performances. This is the workload of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games the most, the longest time spent up to the project. The host country is often started early in 2012 to prepare, and their brains, with a view to the magnificent qualities, unique to attract guests of the national spirit. The success of the opening ceremony or not, depends largely on the effectiveness of group calisthenics and performance.Also Admission athletes were the most exciting time for different people in different countries.I liked the torch lit best,the athletes relay race then Lining made the Flame alive.

I think I will remember this wonderful moment all my lifetime and if it possible,I hope the Polemics opening ceremony can held in Nanjing in the future.

Religious service

On the 26Th April. I went to St.Pole church at south of the Zhong Shan road in Nanjing with my good friends.

If you believe in Christianity, every Sunday you need to go to the church to have go to a church, that day, we were also doing the divine service.

The divine service was begun. At first, all the people sang a song, but the name I forgot, it was my first time doing the divine service so I don’t know how to sing it. The songs seemed peaceful and softly“call to pray and line up for prayer Adana, call to pray…” after sang the song, the minister came into the church and the church is very quiet, the minister was reading the <> and we followed him. We were very conscientious and solemn.

Then we learnt to sing another song, it was very difficult and long. But we were still very conscientious. Every person here looked sincerely. There were many old people here. Though they are old, but they looked young that time because they believe in that god can help them have healthy body. There were little young people here but I don’t know why. Maybe they have no time or they believe they will have healthy all the time or have a good life must be by themselves.

I felt very boring in the church that day. Because I don’t know much about Christianity and I can’t sing any songs about scripture. I felt very boring when I was reading the legation and singing the songs.

Though I felt boring, I also thought that is a very meaningful visit because it made me felt peaceful, also, I saw the piece of other people, I felt very happy. The reason for me choose this kind of religious because it’s very close to my home and I want to know how to taste love from the god.

My volunteer work 2

On the 2009/1/28~2009/2/2,I went to YIDI fashion to be the volunteer. In the YIDI fashion I did the nail division. I made a lot of beautiful nails and a lot of people thought I did a good job.

First I asked the nail division can I do this work, she said:” of course you can.” Then I worked in this nail shop, I did not know how to make beautiful and don’t know how to be a good nail division, so, I must be study from other nail divisions in this shop.

The monitor of this shop told me, nail division is a person who mastery nail division and not only have adept skills, but also have good psychology quality. Also, she told the defining of this job is bases buyers’ hand, form of nails, skin type, color they need and their requires, as a nail division, we need disinfect buyers’ hand, also need tend, maintain, beautify, and design.

At that time, I really realized, nail division not a very job, not very easy to earn money, not suitable my mind, but I still decided do this work. Although it is a hard work for me, and I only have 10hours to do this work, maybe even not learn the a little skill from the monitor, but I know, I will try my best to do this work.

Next, I learned some theory knowledge from books. I know now the nails make by crystal. To be a nail division, we must know some materials. The first one is nail liquid, it is the main material to make crystal nails, nail liquid has two kinds, and a kind can defend ultraviolet radiation, it present weak purple, not have strong smell, but this kind is very slowly, most of people don’t like use it. The other kind is very quickly, it suitable for nail division who has adept skills, not suitable for beginner, it have good quality, concreting very quickly and the price is not very high. So many buyers and nail divisions like using this kind of products.

The second one is nail powder, amalgamation the nail liquid can make different kinds of nails, and also they are very tightness and wearable, nail powder has pink, white, no color and natural color, it was very colorful.

The next one is silk, it a product must use during the making crystal nails, it has nail prime’s function. It divided into acidity and not acidity two kinds.
From the book, I know as a nail division, must know a lot of goods and should know how to use them, it not a very short time can do well job, I just know if I want to be a nail division, I must know how to use Brush, UV lamp, Charm, Nail Paint Kit, Decal, Tip coat. Too much things I would know, very difficult for me, but when I do something to the buyers, I still have a quiet frame of mind. The monitor stood near me and taught me how to do the next step. When I finished the first time nail division, I felt very excited, because I did a very successful job, although I just use some simple things, I really succeed, I was happy and I want to try again. At that time I thought though I know to be a nail division very difficult, I will still decide to do this job, just because I love this job, I can have much fun from it, this is the beginning reason I came this shop, I want to have fun from my volunteer.

Now, from the work to do nail division, I had lots funny, and I was so happy. So, I was willing to do this job in the future.

This is a very good experience for me, I was very happy at that time.

Go to a performance

On the 2008/11/19, Julia and I went to school cinema to saw the performance which acted by our GCA students.The performance called.Grade 12's student Cherry and Grade 11'student Fan are the

main characters. They all in our school's drama club.In the show,Cherry played a princess who was aggressive and barbaric and Fan played a prince who was handsome and wisdom.In this show,there were a lot of funny plots just like the lovely princess and special prince kissed fervidly.In this wonderful show,Cherry wore a lot of beautiful clothes and the background in this show are beautiful and colourful. All the characters were dressed in the beautiful clothes and vivid clothes.They all played very creative and lovely.

I knew that they practised a lot of time in they extra time and they can remember their lines proficiently because of their effort. All the characters gave us a wonderful show in a short time.We all enjoyed ourselves in this time. I think I love this show. After I saw this wonderful show I want to join in our school's movie club and improve myself by the different ways.I also want to see the show in the next year because I can enjoy myself when I saw the performance they played. When the host said that the show was over I felt I want to saw this show again.

At the end the show,I took a photo with the main character Cherry and I think she looked pretty when she smiled.I think I want to be the main character too.

Go to an exhibition by myself

On the 2009/3/14,I went to Nanjing museum,Julia,Peter,Shirley,Kassie,Alice,Louie and I went to the museum together.We saw a lot of art work or old things in this exhibition.

First when I started my journey,I was attracted by the bull in the hall,the bull are huge and great.2009 is a year for the bull in China.Bull is a animal who like to eat grass,and they like to walk in the grass. A lot of art work for the bull are beautiful.During those art work I know that in the old century,

people used the bull to do a lot of work,the bull always work for the people.
Then we walked in the horse,in this horse I saw a lot of Chinese invents silkworm,
the silkworm are beautiful.The embroidery technique developed deeply.

During thousands years years development process,embroidery technique has formed the unique skill and the expression means. The embroidery is not only the pure solid thing but also the valued artwork now, holding the important status in the Chinese art history. Cloud Brocade,the head of "the Nanjing Craft Three Treasures" ,is the tradition jacquard weave silk-weaving in Nanjing.

In this exhibition,expect the bull or Cloud Brocade,there were some pictures about the mountains and rivers.Those pictures drew by famous artist in the old century.Also there were a lot of things about the religion in China. This journey gave me different sense about the traditional things in China and I thought I will go to different exhibitions and learnt more things in my life.

This happy, meaningful journey gave me a lesson about the Chinese culture.

My dinner with my friends

My friend Lily and I went to LanWan coffee shop to had dinner.LanWan coffee shop is beside my home.We saved the money for about two months.Then we went to LanWan coffee shop to enjoy the services.

First we sat down at a comfortable table.Then we looked on the menu and chose two different kinds of steaks for our dinner.The waiter gave us two glasses of lemon water and a plate of melon seeds.Good service!We listened to the music in the coffee shop. After twenty minutes the waiter put our food on the table and then we enjoyed our food.

During the dinner we talk about the things in our life like how can we met and how can we been the best friend.We talked for about one hour and ate a lot of things for this dinner. We felt happy and full.The pictures on the coffee shop are very beautiful.My friends and I always talked about who drew those great pictures.
Also in this coffee shop we looked at the different people and talked about why they come to the coffee shop and what job do they do.

My friends had a comfortable dinner and we had a choice to communicated with each other. Because my homework I must have food with my friends or parents.I told her then she told me of course "no problem".She is my best friend she always gave me support when I need the help,I thought I will stay with her log time.

This meaningful dinner gave me a meaningful class.

My school club

I join in the TV Series Club during this term . I only have got 5 hours for my club for this term. In the club, we watched TV series or some famous movies from time to time.

We watched a popular TV series, “prison break” for the first time. We only had one hour for each club activity, we watched the first section. The main character Michael was very smart and he planned to get into the prison in order to save his innocent brother. After he was arrested, he usually walked around inside the prison and made a map of it. During this process, he overcame a lot of challenges with using his wisdom. The love between Michael and his brother is valuable and impressive,I like this TV series and I think the main character is so smart.

Then we watched a funny movie---”Kung Fu Panda”. In this movie, there was a lazy panda which loved eating very much but was also interested in Kung Fu. It found the principle of Kung Fu from his father---“The secret ingredient of my secret ingredient soup is...nothing. To make something special, you just have to believe it’s special.” That’s true, there is no principle at all. So in our lives,we must believe our ability and try our best to do something.

I think watching good movies and good TV series can help us to learn something quickly and can tell us a lot of things to help us in the true life.Watching movie also can make us feel relax and make our mood better.Watching movie not only help us to learn more in our life,but also make our life funny and interesting.So I think join in the TV series club is meaningful and helpful.In our lives,we do not have any more time for watching movie or TV series,so I think join in the TV series club can help us watching more TV series and movie and make us take more relax. During the activities of TV Series Club, I found that when we are watching movies or TV Series, we must be quiet and share our opinions afterwards. We should respect the other students who are watching movies that we will mix in easily.

In the club, I knew many new things who I don’t know before.And the activities helped us know each other quickly.I thought if we can help each other we can do things quickly.And I also knew a lot o things about TV.In my club I can relax myself and also learn a lot of thins,that is good,so I think I will join in this club next term.,because the club are happy club and I thought I like watching TY very much also I can learn things and relax. or I can learn things and relax,and I thought I like watching TY very much a a lot o things about TV.In my club I can relax mys The club I like so I can feel happy and comfortable.I can have more time to watch TV and movies,also I can talk o my friends and recommend my favourite and look other people’s favourite.Then I can watch a lot of movies and TV series.That is very good.

My volunteer work 1

During Winter holiday,we must do a lot of volunteer works.On 2008/12/13,I went to YiDi in Confucius Temple to do my volunteer work.In YiDi,there are a company called HuaYang.

This company always used to make Photo shoot and PS all the photographs.In YiDi,there are two rooms for HuaYang.One for recommend and the other one for take the pictures.There are a lot of clothes in the other room and a lot of sets in that room.In HuaYang there are different kinds of price for differences product.The first day,I must remember all the price and the product.Oh my god!!The first day,I also need to learn how to use photo shop to make the photo more beautiful.During the volunteer work,I also know a lot of pretty girl use photo shop to make themselves thinner.

During 2008/12/13,2009/1/16,2009/1/23 to 2009/1/27,I worked in HuaYang for 11.30 hours.I helped the salesperson to recommended the product and photos hoping the pictures.On 2009/1/16,my first experience to earned money.I earned 398 yuan for this company.Hahaha....

In this company, Makeup division is Ms.Lu and the photographer is Mr.Dong.They worked together for a year,so they have good tacit.They always make a lot of good photo.Ms.Lu also taught me how to dress up myself and Mr.Dong also taught me how to make the photo lively and beautiful.I like to take photos.

In HuaYang there are a lot of plants and fishes.The environment in HuaYang not very good,so I usually yawn in HuaYang,I think I felt uncomfortable,but when I recommended the product to the customers I felt happy and mental.Although at last I only earned 1000 yuan for this company,but I also have a sense of accomplishment.I practised my grammar and I knew how to talk with people,I think I become more helpful and kind.I think this work is such a tough work,first I could not do my work very well,I could not remember all the products and I also could not recommended all the products to people clearly.I often make mistakes and in trouble.But at last a lot of people helped me and told me a lot of skills.Then I can did the work more quickly.

This volunteer work is meaningful and funny.Although I feel very tired but I also got a lot of skills and experience.I think in the future I can prepare my work well.I think I like to be shopkeeper and recommend things to people and if the people like the things I recommended I will feel satisfied and happy.I think during this volunteer work I grew up and become easy-going.I also think if more volunteer in the world maybe the world will be more peaceful,because the money will not be very useful,so a lot of people will be more friendly and helpful.There are a lot of kinds of volunteer work,if you choose to help old people or animal you will help a lot for the world.

During this volunteer work.I learnt how to talk with different kinds of people ,I learnt how to remember things quickly,I also learnt how to do volunteer work. I thought I like to do volunteer work and I can do the volunteer work very well.

My phiscal activity

On 2009/1/19, I went to Purple Mountain with my mother and aunts.

First we took taxi to the foot of the mountain.Then we walk to a place have a lot of roads.My mother chose a road have a lot of stairs.We walked on those stairs and I felt very tired.During the trip to the top of the mountain.I saw a lot of trees and grasses.I also listened to the sounds of the birds in the mountain.The fresh air make our felt comfortable and lucidly.My mother and my aunts sang a lot of songs during the trip.I thought they sang very well.We laughed and talked a lot during the trip.An hour later,we climbed break for about 15 minutes then we went down the mountain.We used about 45 minutes down the mountain.This day I felt happy and comfortable.My mum said that I need to have more activity in the future.

On 2009/1/21,my mother and my aunts went to the Purple mountain again. We prepared a lot of food and drinks for this trip,we want to climb on the top of the mountain.We chose the road that more comfortable,then we started to climb.Some time later(about 40 minute)we climbed on the observatory again.Then we had a break for about 30 minutes,we talked the clothes and we had a lot of food and drinks.Then we decided to continued our trip,then we went up the mountain.The roads during the trip on the top of the mountain were difficult to climb,so we climbed more slowly and in the middle of the trip we often had break and took photos.After about 45 minutes we on the top of the mountain.I felt tired but the view of the mountain and Nanjing made me feel surprised and it was the first time I saw the great Nanjing view.I like the sense of to see the view.I took a lot of pictures and I sat on the stones on the mountain to saw the great view.Then we went down the mountain for about 30 minutes.At last we decided to had this trip again.

On 2009/1/26,my mum,dad and dad's workforces we went to Xuanwu Lake to watch the view of the lake.First we went to the ticket office to bought the tickets.Then we went to the side of the lake,and we took a lot of pictures and talked with each other.Then we took the boats and had a trip on the lake. I drove this boat and we played with the water very happy.Then we went to the pleasure park.We played cars and a lot of games.We used about 5 hours in this park,and we have a good day in this park.This trip called New Year Activity.

My activity in the winter holiday are finish,I felt comfortable and happy.My activity always with my family and they all told me to do more activity.I also learnt I need to do more activity in the future and I need to practise myself.Activity make our healthy and beautiful.During do activity we can learn a lot of things and practised ourselves.

Go to an exhibition

On Dec.4 we went to Nanjing university to see a exhibition.The artist WuWeiShan made a lot of artwork about sculpture.In Nanjing university there are a lot of artwork made by WuWeiShan.

We first saw some of the artwork in front of the university's door.I like the artwork called mother and child.I like the artwork because I think the artwork is beautiful and happiness.The beautiful mum hug a lovely son. They look so happiness.I think the artwork represent the mother's love and the love for the son.

Then we went to inside.We saw a lot of small artwork.These artworks all are sculpture.They are beautiful.We also see one of the most famous artwork called sleep baby.It's made by WuWeiShan.There also a lot of prefect artwork made by WuWeiShan.These artworks all represent different meanings.

Our guide is WuWeiShan’ student.He told us that WuWeiShan always makes sculpture when he finds something different and meaningful.I think that WuWeiShan is a good artist and he made a lot of meaningful artwork.I think he has a lot of new ideas for art because he always give us surprise.

My favourite artwork is mother and son.Our guide told me that this artwork represent the new life and hope.The mother and son also represent the mother’s love are great and mother always the take care of the son.The mother always use all life to make the son happy and happiness.The guide told us that artwork is about the ground and all the new hope in the world,and I think my mum also took good care of me and let me grow up,she never told me to return back,she always love me,help me,give a lot of things to me.Like this artwork,she gave me warm hug everyday.I love my mum.

After saw this artwork I think mum is the most hard people in the world...So we must love our great mothers.

The dinner with Grade 12 mentors

On Dec.24Th we went to Taco to had dinner with 12 Grade students.We must have dinner with them because our portfolio.We met Grade 12 students at Golden Eagle in Taco.It is a western restaurant and all the food are western food.The food are delicious in this restaurant.All the grade 12 students are kind.They help us a lot of things about our study. So first I need to thank them...Thank you Grade 12 students.

We met at Taco at 6 o'clock. First only Frank.H, Bill, Kevin,Jack,Rainy and Jolin waited at there.Then the Grade 12 students Jack and Alice told us to saw the menu and choose the food we like.Rainy,Jolin and I were in one group and we chose a pizza.Rainy and Jolin also choose one drinks.Bill,Frank and Jack they chose two kinds of pizza.Some times later another people and another Grade 12 students came.They all choose their favourite food.We talked about the future and what university they will chose in the future.This night is Christmas eve,our school had party in this night,so I only had this dinner for about 30 minutes.I felt I had a good night and felt I knew something about the future in the Grade 12 and I knew a lot of manners for a lot of things.

I ate 1 over 3 about the pizza and the pizza is very Delicious.In this dinner,ate was not very important. I thought that to had a discussion with Grade are the most meaningful for this dinner.During this dinner I know how to prepare the presentation and how to study more easily.Grade 12students are all very helpful,they told us a lot of things about the life in GCA and their experience.I knew the students in Grade 12 are hard and tired so we can do better to prepare the extra days in GCA.

On Dec.24Th,I had a delicious dinner with Grade 12 students in Taco.
